With RoboKiller, answer your phone with confidence once again! Telemarketers and scammers have made it painful to pick up a call, but RoboKiller, winner of the FTC's anti-robocall competition, gives you your phone back. The New York Times, NBC, Wired, Engadget, Vice and others, are all raving about RoboKiller’s power to block over 100,000 spam calls and its uncanny ability to show you exactly who is calling you before your answer. RoboKiller reduces unwanted calls by up to 90% in 30 days! RoboKiller is available with both monthly and yearly subscriptions, both with a free 7-day trial; opt-out at any time during the trial and you aren’t charged a penny. (See for pricing.) RoboKiller also takes the hassle out of getting the calls you DO want, with true, real-time caller ID so you can stop guessing who’s at the other end of your calls. RoboKiller’s Super Caller ID turns phone numbers into names, addresses and even photos of the people calling you - all while the call is happening. No more annoying cutting and pasting, trying to figure out who’s on the phone after the call is already over. *** RoboKiller works on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, Cricket and MetroPCS. RoboKiller is NOT currently supported by US Cellular. *** KEY BENEFITS: - Automatically blocks spam and robocallers with patented FTC-award winning technology. - Spam list automatically updates hourly, making sure you always have the most up-to-date protection. - Take control! • Doesn’t work well

It only caught half of the spam calls within the past month I’ve used it. I contacted support on this and sent them a screenshot of the numbers and got a canned response. I’m bummed that for some odd reason only a few of the people who call me are identified. In addition, it doesn’t let you copy-paste numbers out of the app (so for example you could google the number). Using the share > copy option actually copies an ad for the service to your clipboard and puts the number in an attachment. I found this very needy/shady of the developer. It should be possible to just copy a number to the clipboard.
  • Not So Good

I was extremely happy with the blocking of unwanted calls until I realized that callers who were in my contacts were also being blocked. Then I realized that callers were no longer sent to my personal voicemail and calls were just being dropped. Thought I had a winner but I guess I’ll keep searching!!! So the developer responded back with “we don’t block contacts” and “we don’t touch your voicemail or voicemail settings.” Well this isn’t true in my experience. I called my phone from an alternate number several times and it rang and rang before eventually dropping the call. Never went to my AT&T voicemail. And yes callers from my contacts were initially being blocked, however, that issue was resolved.

So I've had this app for a couple of months now. I finally took the time to play around with it. I have the "Shhhh.." answer bot set up. Priceless! Listening to this one spammer had me rolling. He totally caved for the spam bot. Yeah, it's evil to do this to them but takes the stress out of unwanted spam calls. Heck, it's even cool I shared the recording on Facebook. Way to go! Love it!! • Nice app, missing a convenient feature

Overall this is a really nice app, but I wish there was an easier way to add numbers to your personal block list. It is easy to hit the block button for calls in RoboKiller's "recents" list, but not all of my missed calls are shown there. For a lot of calls that I ignore, I need to enter the numbers manually in the app. That can get pretty tedious!
