At first I honestly wasn’t sure about this game, but I am so thankful I tried it out. It surprises me that a great app like this has no adds and is free! Another thing that surprised me is this game is fully accessible for all people including voice over users. We need more apps like that. I don’t mind purchasing time crystals and other IAP, because the developers deserve it. Hopefully with the money I used can help develop another game like this!!! By the way, why only 5 stars? Because if I could I would rate an extra 5 stars. I sure hope this isn’t the last game that is fully accessible for everyone.

Needs more compatibility of watching a video to earn more time crystals. News more compatibility for skipping chapters.

I love it. It’s amazing. This is one of my favorite games to play on the iPhone. The story is amazing and the characters all have there own special personality. This game makes you feel all sorts of different emotions. Happy, mad, excited, curious, and even heartbroken sometimes. You really connect with Ash and care about what happens to him. The plot has an amazing twist to it and so do the characters. One of the other things I love about this game is that you can change the fate of Ash and the people around him depending on what path you fallow. You can prevent or cause something you couldn’t if you go the other way. I also love that sometimes you have more than two choices. Some people complain about the wait time and how it gets longer as you go. Well it’s realistic. And this game isn’t meant to be played in one sitting. Ash can’t build a grave in two seconds and he can’t fly across the world in three minutes. One thing people don’t mention is the MUSIC! The music is so pretty and awesome! My favorite is Heartbreak. People also mention how it’s annoying to have to buy the Time Crystals. Well I say it’s Generous of them to make it as cheep as it is. It is a free game after all. Plus you don’t even have to pay for it. You can find irilliom in the game and trade it for one-hundred time crystals. There are two in Faded Connections and two in The Door(as far as I know🙂). That’s another thing there generous about. However recently when I finish a chapter I don’t get memory remnants. I have like six-teen void crystal but no memory remnants. The only way to get one is to spend four-hundred Time Crystals. But other than that this game is amazing and is soooo much better than Lifeline. Can’t wait until Timecrest three!😝😝😝😝

Unlike every other “choose your own adventure” app that I’ve come across, this game does not telegraph which option is the “right” option by making it cost $2 in game credits. The credits save you time in reading the game and are quite generously priced, this is from someone with no patience lol

Really love the design and story. The interaction between Ash and the reader is so real and I love the connection that grows from it. It's like talking to a close friend. And some characters can have hilarious reaction to your choices. (...... I can't tell you how much I've wanted to teleport next to Roger and kick him in the shins. I guess I'll have to settle for Ash doing that for me instead.) Completed Part 2 at least five times already! I'm excited to see what comes next. Hope there are more games like this in the future. (I'm at the edge of my seat waiting for the next update with Timecrest 3! This game is definitely worth the wait!)

I haven’t been this engaged in a story for a looong time. Ash is such an endearing and incredible protagonist and I just love everyone. There’s so many questions and so many answers to find, and I highly recommend getting this if you’re looking for a good story!! Sure, the narration is a little awkward at times, but I promise you the plot is engaging and the characters feel *real*. It may take a while to get into, but when you do, you’re in DEEP.

The story and characters are complex, the music is great, and the developers have done a fantastic job making the app accessible with Voiceover! They really went above and beyond! Sometimes I get frustrated having to wait to play while Ash is busy, but other than that, I have no complaints.

  • Good, but time gap is a bit excessive

I understand the mechanism behind needing to earn income for a freely offered game, but the time delay if you choose not to spend money is a bit excessive. I don’t mind an hour or two, but nearly eights hours encourages me to consider deletion of the app. It’s otherwise an entertaining game. I would consider a model more like pay once own forever in a series of stories, but for the time gap number of crystals required to skip, I can’t vouch for a rating higher than 3 stars at the moment. The story line is somewhat predictable, but again, it is entertaining enough.
