  • One year later, still needs work but good.

    I started using this app over a year ago and I forgave a lot of the bugs because they were constantly improving and eager for feedback. After 13 months, I’m not so forgiving. The app still regularly fails to sync with Apple Watch, causing you to lose some of your exercise sets unless you re-enter. The workout routines are often senseless and even borderline dangerous. For instance, I was given an intermediate routine routine that included three different pull-up routines with body weight amounting to roughly 13 sets of 5-8 reps of pull-ups. In the same set, it calculated that I should do incline bench and, two exercises later, a dumbbell flat bench using a dumbbell weight that I’ve never gotten close to using. They need to resolve sync issues and program better the exercise routines. This is not a plug n play workout app although the layout and breadth of exercises and Apple Watch integration are good, despite bugs.

    Great instrument to use, but keep in mind this app won’t give you a good body, you’ll have to do that, this will help you get organized.

    As a beginner, this app is perfect! Automatically switches up the routine and allows your muscles to recover by working out a different set daily. You can log your workouts so that you can track your progress. Impressed!

    Love this app, I would be lost without it in the gym. I have seen clear results after more than a year of use. It makes going to the gym so easy, taking all the thinking out of planning a workout. Thank you for all the time you guys have spent developing this app and improving it over time! I really enjoy the Apple Watch app! Many developers have stopped progress on Watch apps in the recent months. Every so often I’ll forget to wear my watch to the gym and it really makes the workout less enjoyable due to the need to constantly pull out the phone. I would like the Watch app to work without the phone being nearby, however I’m not sure how realistic that is currently. Also super stoked on the cardio addition! I’ve been waiting for so long for that feature, the app would constantly recommend leg exercises after running the day before. This allows for a more tailored workout.

    This app is great at what it does - giving you a new workout each time. However, it REALLY excels in the user experience dept. Every tap is well thought out, and everything is very intuitive. One of the best apps I've ever used. Major kudos to the dev team!

    I've been using this app for about 6 months. I have never lifted before and I didn't know where to start. The idea of putting together daily workouts and to make sure I hit all of the muscle groups was daunting to me. I have seen consistent gains and growth by using this program. Great buy!
