JAM - Creative Courses App Description

"We signed up for a 14-day trial, but we soon realized we were here to stay. Our children are engaged in the activities and the staff makes the courses fun. They enjoy making the videos of their projects. They love interacting with the other students and we feel like it's a safe place for them to do it. JAM is exactly what this family needed." Join JAM to find *your* kid's genius. JAM gives the next generation the stuff they can't get in school. Our courses are designed by experts who are passionate about helping young people learn skills that will last a lifetime. Each course contains a video library produced by our mentors demonstrating techniques, pro secrets and challenges. Projects can be completed in any order and at any pace. Keeping momentum is our priority, even if it's slow and steady. Our courses show youth how to take initiative, design their own solutions, experiment, and share their ideas. The cycle of trying, failing and growing creates independent thinkers who are capable and confident. Jammers share their work with the Learning Community™ and in turn seek inspiration in each other’s work. Everyone is both a student and a teacher here. Everything posted is seen by a staff member to ensure safety, privacy and appropriateness. Parents are our partners. We offer free technical support 7 days a week – just in case your kid has stumped you, we’re there to help. We’ll also send emails to show you all the cool things your Jammers are creating in their course.

  • Good course

It's a fun app though a course is 50 - 100$ but the courses are pretty good. Also they choose what you draw

One of the best self-teaching tools I have found for the independently motivated student. Highly recommend.
  • Love the new features!

So glad to see some of these new features added. Navigating between projects is so easy now. I already found one Easter egg, too :)

  • Professional and fun

This is a really great app! The navigation is great. It was a little confusing at first. Let me rephrase that: It was confusing FOR ME until my 9 year old got on the app and started thumbing thru the tutorials with ease. She is the target market so it makes sense that she would intuitively know how to use it. The app is compact and full of instruction. Each course encourages the participants to connect with one another via posting their creations. The instructors are top notch and relatable. C: The one TINY thing that (for some reason) irritated me was the constant reference to my "KID". It gets a tad annoying. Maybe I'm being ridiculous but it got under my skin.
  • Not what I expected!

    By ltbo
The "courses" are maximum 30 second video clips that give you "tips." I was expecting my child to sit down with an actual instructor and have her walk my child through learning how to draw. The course is entitled "Drawing Bootcamp" so I fully expected my daughter to actually learn HOW to draw not just suggestions on what types of pencils to use or what the definition of mixed media is. For example: "here's your challenge...find something in nature and draw it!" Ummmmm okay!
  • The 3 D's: Dumb Don't Download

    By Nicolasstiehler
Don't download this. 100$ is way too much money just to learn stuff There should be atleast some things that you can learn for free just to see if you even like it if you really want to learn stuff like this for free go on YouTube and learn things the how to's and videos are actually made by youtubers so you can just go to youtube and save 100$ this app is dumb
  • Money

    By PumpkinCorgi
I know that this has to cost money to support your company but I just really feel down because I have no money to afford the course in this app. It has to cost about $100 or $99 to be a exact but what I'm really saying is kids and people all over the world can't afford this including me. I have no hate I'm just telling the truth. This deserves a good 3 star because I like how the app operates but I don't like that you have to pay that much money just to use a free app that teaches kids fun and education stuff that they don't learn on the website or school. So please, make the courses affordable please. Thank you, joe hate.
