Check out the original Enlight before you spend a ridiculous amount of money for Photofox. My previous review has been removed but a new detailed review will be posted soon.
  • Pretty Great!

(Sorry for any typos this phone keyboard is so tiny XD lol) This overall is a pretty amazing app and great for editing photos, and on top of that I can combine the usage of the other two free apps to make amazing stuff! Here are some suggestions on stuff you could add: Green Screening photos maybe and maybe even for videos on Videoleap to? Maybe let us cut parts of photos to make the parts transparent or replace them with something else? For example replacing backgrounds and/or making them transparent. Thanks for reading! (If you read this XD)

It's a great app, I use it all the time for serious graphic design work on the go. But it's missing a few key features I'd really love to see. Guys, can you please give us the ability to turn snapping on and off?!? Can't tell you how much time I've spent wrestling against the snapping feature try to place a layer where I want it to go. Seems ridiculous it's still not an option. Have you tried your own app? Because I can't imagine using the app even once without experiencing the frustration I'm referring to. Also, it's missing some important blend modes like linear burn, add (although plus lighten comes close, misses sometimes), linear light, difference and exclusion. And although the heal tool works great most of the time, it won't work on any surface that's pure black. This aspect of the tool is more limiting than enabling, though I get why they did it this way. Maybe an additional stamp/clone tool to compensate would be in order? Also, the "urban" art feature is cool, except all the background images are in lo-res. C'mon guys, really ?? Very least it should be possible to import your own hi-res images to be used as the background. Lastly, you should be able to use a layer as a mask, or even import a photo that's converted to b&w and used as mask, the way "Union" by Pixite does it. Add these features and it's the perfect platform worthy of any price!!

  • New feature !

    By Abc.tota.2000
Add green screen chroma key feature to easily remove the backgrounds. Also please make “Reshape” feature free for limited time. I started a project when it was free and now after I updated the app, This feature and some others became premium and I cant continue the project I am making. At least make it free till I finish the project. Then you will take not 5 stars but 10 stars ! I am really considering buying premium but not these days !

You guys should consider changing the name of the the Projects tab to “Oops, something’s gone wrong here.” Because that’s what popped up for over 100 of my projects. So I deleted the thumbnails because, 1) turns out that’s all they were, thumbnail reminders of projects that no longer exist, and 2) why bother anymore. I loved the $4 app (before the upgrade button anyway). ... So glad the $40 I spent is being put to good use for things like valentine stickers instead of unnecessary things like missing tools. The more I use this app, the more I wish I’d never paid the $40 it cost at the time (despite what they said, the 3-month trial didn’t work for me - the premium features were still locked). The latest frustration is the Reshape function. They have icons depicting wireframes or guides, and you would think that there would be some kind of guide or frame or level to keep the reshaping straight. Nope!! Once again, you’re on your own if you want anything straight in this app. But thanks anyway to the developers for instilling in me that I will NEVER pay anywhere near $40 for an iOS app ever again. A subscription, perhaps? Fugetaboutit!! I don’t rent software. ___ In response to the developer’s comment about the stock photos tab (“It will only open on the Search tab the first time you open it...”), allow me to finish the sentence accurately: “... during that session.” Open the app the next day and the default is still the Search tab. You guys are like Nuance - 90% awesome, 10% WT_?? And STILL no straighten tool.... Layer transform does not cut it - iOS doesn’t have the precision to rotate with fingers only, and there are no guides to indicate whether an image is straight. The original Enlight has a wonderful straighten tool, but to leave a $40 app to use a BASIC tool in another app is ridiculous. Not to mention image degradation each time it’s recompressed (maybe not so much with TIFs). With all the advanced features you guys have built into the app, how does a core image utility get left out?! It irritates me every time I need to straighten a photo. Part 2: Why would you make Search the new default when selecting photos? Don't most people want to work on the photos they themselves take? How about making it an option in settings. I personally would rarely, if ever, use that and it's getting irritating to have to switch back to my photos each time. Original Review: You advertise 3 mo free Pro trial for Enlight 1 users, yet why are some features still crippled? B&W > Cinema, for example. Other Pro features that I've used so far work fine. If you're wanting us to lay down the substantial price increase from v1, we should be able to try all of it. I don't want to use 90% of it, spend the money, then find out the other 10% is useless.
