  • Don’t get me wrong

I completely understand that it takes money to run a business and to make improvements but I feel the quality of the product itself should be enough to sell mass amounts of downloads at a low fixed rate and through this the creators can make a fair amount of money . considering after all that most users are using this for phone photography , and most iOS phones although great at taking photographs , aren’t the gold standard for photography ... Youd figure for that amount you can just buy desktop software . I understand the portability of this being on a phone but you also have to be fair when considering the medium .if you were using a 12 megapixel digital camera ... it’s just not logical to pay a recurring fee or the high amount you’re charging .
  • Not worth the money...

Was a previously Enlight 1 user and LOVED it. Not quite sure why they made a new one, but bought the subscription anyway because I thought the RAW editing would be great on the go. I was wrong. With poor export quality (even when its maximized) I am not a happy user any more. I have since moved on to different, better performing (and cheaper) editing apps.

Power of layers like Photoshop in the palm of your hand. Awesome app I have waited a long time for this. Thanks
  • Stick with the original as long as you can

When I review a product, it is about the merits of the product. Not the value of app developers in general or to trivialize the opinions of other reviewers. So let's talk about Photofox... Features of Enlight 1 that are NOT available in Enlight 2: Perspective correcting tools, refit, tilt/shift, and natural media rendering tools. Features included in Enlight 1 that are BEHIND A PAYWALL in Enlight 2: Clarity, fine sharpening, blacks adjustment, shadows adjustment, highlights adjustment, offset adjustment, temperature, tint, curves, white balance picker, targeted adjustments, reshape tool, and heal tool. NEW in Enlight 2: Layers (the Mixer tool in Enlight 1 was 90% of the "New" Layers feature), facial retouching (small subset of the features from their other app FaceTune), light leak overlays, various new stickers and filters, and RAW support. The bottom line is this, Enlight 1 still provides way more value. The new features in Photofox Enlight 2 do not justify its 2000% price increase. Currently, they are offering a 50% discount. That's still 1000% more than the previous version! The developer's response to complaints here has been that the features of the previous app are available for free in the new one. This is demonstrably false.
  • Updated: Charging For Features I Already Purchased In Enlight

    By Asaintfort
UPDATE: There should be a special discount for the one time purchase to those who own a full copy of Enlight and the lifetime subscription for Facetune 2 such as myself. It's just wrong to pay all over again. At least, make upgrade possible. I paid for Enlight hoping it would be updated, getting better. Not to see a brand new separate one. I still lost 3 months fre subscription. It wouldn't be enough. I purchased the other app and most of the features I use on the other is a pro including most text, almost everything. It's like I have to buy it all over again. Keep your Garbage. I regret purchasing the lifetime membership for Facetune 2. You don't deserve the support. Also you lied about people with Facetune subscription get 3 months free. Anyway, is never pay for the features twice. Now you only get one star
  • Better then light x

    By DamienTrezgurar
I saw this advertised on Instagram. I saw what it could do and went "is this better then light x?" A free download later I found out. This is the most advance photography program I have used on my phone and it beats light X (which I paid 4 dollars for) and photoshop fix which I get the full version unlocked with my adobe cloud subscription. The tutorials are really nice and for a free download you get so much power. It is worth the look. I understand that past owners of 1 may be upset, but I don't believe their reviews are fair after reading 9 of them and seeing what the app can do. Especially since the company is trying to be transparent. Personally I am going to take advantage of the half off sale and pay the lifetime amount. For my investment it is worth it to me to have my art and my fun photos backed up with this powerful program.
  • Disappointed

    By Sososoperstar
The price is way too much and why would i buy something over and over again? I could of just got photoshop. Enlight 1 is so great, and is definitely worth the money but I didn't pay multiple times it was just once and I do not regret it. But this time? I'm really disappointed.
  • More of the same

    By rickmurrays
Target is yet another feature that was already available and included in the Enlight V1 purchase, that is now behind a pay wall. I will gladly pay a fair price for new features, but refuse to pay again for features I've already purchased once. Frankly this approach seems to show no regard for an existing user base. Your existing users would gladly pay for new features, perhaps even as subscription. But I'm guessing you've alienated many with this business practice. Update: to be clear, I don't have a problem with the new business model. As much as I don't care for a subscription model, it does help sustain development. But I believe you've overvalued yourself at the current rates. You're also not being transparent about the feature comparison between v1 and v2. Some features you hail as being new, and thereby justifying the purchase price, already existed in v1. It's a market driven economy, and judging by the 1 1/2 star review rating, others share the same opinion. Either make the value proposition more attractive or lower your prices, and I'll gladly pay, even if I did already purchase most of these features
  • Pay to play

But yeah its totally worth it. For a phone editing app it's definitely one you should have.
