    I love this app!!! I don't just use it to calorie count but also to track exercise and macronutrients. If you're watching carbs or working on cutting fat this app gives you all the dietary info for free! Love this app. I have used it off and on for years!
  • Good app just the adds are annoying

    I really like this app I been using it on and off for any years. This year I finally got back my motivation and determination. I been using this app everyday Day for the past 119 days I'm done 38LBS. If you are serious about losing weight and need help to track your calories / workouts, even talk to other people who are using this app or get emotional support then I really recommend this app. Only thing, I don't like the constant ads popping up about purchasing there premium account. It's really annoying because one moment you're trying to log in something and the next moment there ad pop up. other than that I like this app.

    Lose-it makes you pay attention to what you are eating. Low carb is key. I went from 173 to 161. Suggest keeping carbs between 50 to 100 g per day. Hard boiled eggs are a good snack.
  • Premium renewal beware

    Convenient way to track food and exercise. However, this year when the Premium features were renewed on my account, they charged my credit card the full amount, and yet both the app and the website are trying to get me to pay AGAIN to 'upgrade' to premium. Contacted customer service - which was completely worthless. They sent me a $10 iTunes gift card and said 'sorry'. But they didn't put the premium features back on. So I paid $29.99 for the Premium version a month ago and in return, I got a $10 gift card and no access to the Premium features. If they don't rectify this situation I will be deleting my app and using another tracker.
  • Free version losing functionality

    I’ve been using Lose it for years when I need a bit more accountability. Well, this round of accountability will be going to another app, as Lose It’s free version keeps losing functionality. First it was macro tracking, then water tracking. My last straw is needing to sign up for premium to connect with my Fitbit, which a month or so ago was free.
  • Great for post-gastric-surgery

    Lose It was recommended by my surgeon after gastric sleeve surgery and it has really helped me keep track and stay on track. The database is so extensive I rarely have to spend more than a minute tracking each meal, but the flexibility of being able to add my own recipes and foods is fantastic. I also love the UPC scanning option. I love that I can see the nutrient breakdown of my day at a glance - it really helps me make sure I'm getting enough protein. If I could make one request - I love the social aspect, and it would be great if we could give friends some sort of a high five or other positive feedback when they log in with a weight loss or a great workout. Thanks for a great app!

    I've been on my weight loss journey for over a year now and the last half of it has bee aided by lose it! I'm currently down 65+ pounds and counting...I love how much tracking your food makes you realize what you are putting in your body! Fantastic app...I recommend it to everyone
  • No Macro Goals

    Pretty easy to use app. My only complaint is I cannot set my Macros goals. I thought upgrading to the paid version would help, but that's a No. I hate having to switch to My Fitness Pal as I don't believe it's user friendly but it allows me to set my macro goals both by percent and grams. Sad to leave this app behind. And sad I wasted my money.
