I have always used aol radio with was basically run by slacker. AOL is going offline & slacker is what they say to use. Except that the songs don’t play. They stop on their own after a few seconds, then I hit play & get a few more seconds before they stop again. I’m tried multiple channels & it’s always the same thing. Guess I’ll have to go back to Pandora.

It would be really, REALLY nice if I could add genre stations to my custom stations alongside the artist stations.

Great app, works well and has a deeper selection of musicians. My custom station “Bonfire Chillicious” is a lot of fun for hanging with the family. My other “Ass on Fire Workout Mix” keeps me in shape when I run. When I work on my sculptures and oil paintings Slacker provides a creative backbeat. Viva Slacker!

Customer service was responsive. I was double charged for a silver and pro membership for 4 months, and only received my most recent month’s pay via a chargeback. I would like to blame Slacker, however I blame myself for not staying up on my financial statements and being as responsive as the company was. After addressing the only elephant in the room between slacker and myself, it’s been nothing but sweet goodness and groovy vibes. I’ve taken music from your platform with me around the world from Africa to South America, and around Europe with your offline downloads. The memories of listening to those songs in certain places will be with me for life. My advice after all these years? Bring back the classic tuning platform from your older versions, simplify the method one can organize songs within a playlist (especially offline), and use your potential to go international, or even rock around the globe!

I love Slacker Radio! But I have a few problems with it. • if I use the app for a long time, whenever I switch the station, a security check pops up, asking me to type in a code. That’s fine, but my problem is that the same thing comes on after EVERY OTHER STATION when I switch. It seems like you guys are assuming that just because I use the app for a long period of time, someone is hacking into my account. • when I first turn the app on, I pick a station and then I try to switch it or the song that’s currently playing if I don’t like the song. Then, a pop up video comes on and then the next song plays. However, this is a problem because it plays at the same time as the previous song, so they are playing together, but they overlap each other. If you are confused about what I am trying to explain, I’ll give an example: let’s say I picked a station and Taylor Swift’s song Shake it Off comes on. Let’s pretend I hate it (it’s actually one of my favorites). As I try to skip the song, a pop up ad video comes on. After it’s over, Katy Perry’s song Roar comes on. But then Shake it Off and Roar would both play at the same time. • my final problem is the premium option. I think it is really cool that you guys are allowing offline listening and the ability to go back to previous songs, but I feel that you shouldn’t have to pay a weekly fee. I understand that you guys need to earn money, but I would be more than willing to pay if it was a one time payment. At the very least, make us pay a fee of, oh, I don’t know, but maybe $50. I would consider doing that. In conclusion, this is an amazing app that I use everyday. If you guys make the improvements that I suggested, I would love it even more. Thank you for taking the time to read my review!!
