It was my favorite dating app. However the recent changes make it annoyingly bad. On top of that, most matches or mails what do reach you are fake. Yes all of them

I can see the first 2 lines of a message in my inbox but when I actually click on the message, the new message isn't there. The person I am talking to said my messages to him are also disappearing.... how we supposed to do this, Cupid?

I used to really like this site. I didn’t like a lot of the questions, but I like knowing how much we match or don’t, and I enjoyed reading the answers. Then they started all of these new things that I hate. I’m leaving it today. 1. If you write someone, their profile disappears unless they decide to write you back. 2. People’s usernames let you know what they were or what they wanted. Now they use your name?!? That tells me nothing. 3. You can’t write someone unless you ‘like’ them.

Why don’t you consider the users opinion on how bad the new version of messaging has become? All I see is one star rates because of this useless change! Yet you copy and paste the “70%” answer to the feedbacks? Way to promote professional costumer service..

Ok, love the the concept and the questions , but we have a few problems: so far it’s says that 53 people have liked me, but it says I’m low on matches . I know there’s people I haven’t matched with yet if I don’t see everyone I matched with (Not getting A List, to pricy for a college student). Also, some girls I chat with leave in the middle of conversation just when I think it’s going somewhere. There should be some rating of profiles part where we can indicate who actually chats/replies/ and indicate whether or not they gave a valid reason why they stopped responding before they stopped . Also new questions should be added more frequently.

Back in the day, OKCupid was a great place. It had fun quizzes and lots of ways to connect with people. Oh, yeah, and it was free. Now? No quizzes and few connections unless you're willing to pay for so-called A-list. Match.com ruined OKCupid. Update: The latest update is even worse.

For women, this app is great to promote their instagrizzle. For men, this app is a con job. On a daily basis, a fake account will like/message with a phone # and solicitation. But you can’t see who until you’ve swiped to “like” them. Fake accounts get deleted quickly but not the notification... this drives guys to swipe likes looking for that connection OKC promised to promote (or you can buy membership to finally see the toads and robots that like you). In turn this spams women with hundreds of “likes” per day. Worse still, OKC makes women wade into those spammed likes to find incoherent messages “promoted” at OKC’s ramdom discretion. What was once the best dating app has destroyed its greatest asset - the survey question matching system. It could easily use the survey questions as proof of work to earn limited messaging credits, thus eliminating the endless spam problem and reviving the match system with filters. As it is now, it is even more frustrating than Tinder and borderline unethical. Also, the app design/art was change into something childlike and sadly reflective of such a terrible app.

They really need to get the word out even more that Likes can’t be seen until there is a mutual Like. When 2 people Like each other then they can communicate. But not before then. Some brand new profiles say “can’t see likes, send me a message”. Those are either fake or pardon the pun, not getting the message about how OKC works now. Search filter results are weird. Different screens show different results. Some people show up in one search tab but not in the other and the search parameters are the same, only the sort order is different per OKC settings on those tabs.
  • Awful Messaging Update

The new messaging system is just terrible. I get that there were creeps spamming women, but instead of figuring out a way to weed them out, the developers turned this into Tinder. Update: I wish I could take off that one star. Now I can’t like more people, and I am prompted to send messages to people who may never see them, or may not even want to see them. What’s the point of sending messaging if the other person hasn’t already liked you back? When would they even see my profile without the visitors function? This website used to be run by smart people.
