  • Not what you think

So I downloaded the app bc I was curious and my friend has been urging me too!! This app seemed easier and less complicated than MATCH.... WRONG! So whenever I get a suggestion, they live 100+ miles away! I was referred to a guy who live 1000 miles away... the app seems ideal bc you can mark the distance, ethnicity, religious, if they have kids And other characteristics in a person that you want to be referred to! The app completely avoids this.. I asked for a refund within 12 hours of owning the app, and I was declined.. the funny thing is you get suckered in by the messages. You think you have a message from a “person” but it my be that they liked your profile so in your messages it sends you a heart!! Or from carousel when you both like each other... and it will say you both want to meet.., well then you look at your carousel match and they meet none of your ideal characteristics and you realize you have to drive 200 miles to meet them. BTW, carousel is based off picture impression/ looks. Oh and I’m sure your looking to make dating convenient.. 200 miles after work for a dinner date is not going to happen.. NOT CONVENIENT! This app is flawed and unfortunately you get sucked in by the messaging.. The plus is the picture verification but if there are all these other flaws, that is probably not accurate.. so before you drive 200 miles plus think what you are getting into. To buy honest you might be better giving your number to the guy in line in front of you at the grocery store bc the you know what he looks like and you know you both like to eat.

I had seen that Zoosk was supposed to be one of the best sites, above the others. I am very curious about that rating: they must have given that ranking to themselves, because they are clearly not deserving of a major number of stars. I stated no smokers, was repeatedly matched with smokers; I stated within 35 miles, was repeatedly matched with people who lived as far as ONE THOUSAND miles away; ( note that word “repeatedly;” this was not a one time incident ). I saw the same matches come up over and over.... and over!! Each match that I said no to would be presented again after a wait of about three or four days . I finally started telling them no instead of just turning them down. Right offhand, I figure they have about 100 men that they just roll around over and over, no matter what the verdict is from the potential match. There was a lengthy conversation between one man and me, lasting over a month. He lived about five miles away, and after about a month’s conversation, with repeated suggestions that we meet at a nearby place, he just disappeared...... I give up. 🖥🏴🐽🤚🏿 NOTICE ALL THE BLACK ?? That is for Ilustration only. (Forget the pig snout, I could not make it disappear no matter what I did) This is an addition to the previous one, done in FEB , would you believe?? This is written on 20 March. My trial is w-a-y over, but I have not been dropped, although my messages to guys do not go through. I also get smokers(req NO smokers), up to now almost 1500miles away (NovaScotia- would you believe I live in TEXAS !!). I have gotten messages from the guy still, I am sure, but cannot read them...those don’t go through. I also do not know How they ranked well.... My answer Is, obvious: the site managers did it! Being the curious type, I want to see if this disappears. Here is a secret word: forever; it does not belong-if you see it, you know it has been edited. Perhaps the whole paragraph!! I still get multiple messages from the guy...according to the site....that’s an income stream for them, if I restart!! I am at fiveonetoo, sixfivesis, sixsixoneseven if anyone wants to vent, or commiserate. I hesitate to try any other sites, because of this one. I feel like I have been. SCAMmED (sorry, Could not fix that e). That is all from me.............unless THEY cut me off. (If so, we know they read it)!!

I subscribed to get special features which cost me $30.00 and when I try to access these features it says I need to subscribe which I already did and have been charged for... Inhave email confirmation of subscribing and my app card was charged and balance reflects it as well. I was skeptical to subscribe in first place and now I’ve been charged 30.00 plus tax and I still being advised I need to subscribe. Buyer Beware !!!!

The carousel features people hundreds of miles away. Even though my search limit is 25 miles it still does this. I don’t like how you can’t view everyone as small thumbnails on one page, this is true for the web version too. The fact that you can only see one person at a time is a complete waste of time.

Once a person has said not interested why does the site continue to offer same person on the carousel. Why should I have to pay some stupid fee to know if my comment has been received. Once a comment is received and not responded to then I kno this person is not interested in me. I am not interested in a man who has a beard like Duck Dynasty, somehow a woman should have the ability to say this without an unseemly retort.

In all honesty, been on Zoosk almost a year & it has been a crushing disappointment. It’s either the spam, or ghost members who have already left their data base that keep giving you a view that is the most disappointing. You keep responding to them thinking their active but it’s just crickets. Can’t wait for my membership to run out. Would give 0 stars if could..

I like some of members here but you say write a free message, then goes to join, I won’t join until I have a few interested in me, and I in them!! I most times can’t see much about her so give us a free message to see if there may be a match

Paid for a 3 month subscription through Zoosk, as I was looking for a serious relationship. I have gotten matches and dates through Tinder, Bumble, and OKCupid. I got only two Smartpick matches throughout my three months with Zoosk, and no dates during the three month period. Waste of time and money. Avoid this app like the plague.
