  • Lost all my pics twice

    By DLove2468
I lost almost 150 pics just because they went black and I couldn’t fix them and they functionality is so bad that all of my pics got deleted cause I scrolled to much
  • Imported large video now it’s stuck

I can’t seem to retrive a large 30 GB video from this app. I need to move it back to the photo library. I used the Save Video button not Save To Files button. It doesn’t show a transfer progress window unlike when I imported the video into the app. How can I extract this video?
  • Locked out

So for some reason my passcode isn’t working and since there’s no way to figure that out, did I just lose all my photos?
  • Solid but still missing a basic

Great vault app ... I’ve never had a problem with any functionality. Not supporting animated GIFs in earlier versions was a ridiculous oversight but that was addressed. But another one has not ... ... all media players in any application or platform should include a looped play function whether you think we need it or not ... as standard as including a pause button. Don’t worry even major apps like Dropbox haven’t figured this out. You guys have been great with updates so I’m sure you will!
  • Disappointment

When I upgraded Iphone 7 to the iPhone8plus all my pictures were restore to the app, now that I have the iphoneX I have no pictures restore to the the app. Why? What is going? How can I get all my pictures back?
  • Restore Problems

    By Frustrated316
Have others encountered restore problems with the new iOS or device recently? I’ve lost over 100 photos and videos. I’ve reached out to the developer via email - have yet to hear a response. I called Apple and was told that the issue lies with the developer in why my images did not fully restore Please help!
  • I’ve purchased this before

    By Abgfib
I upgraded this app and it shows that I didn’t ... I shouldn’t have to pay again

Updated review for Private Photo Vault v9.2: I’ve had Photo Vault for a long time, it’s a great app to safely store photos and videos. I love the fact that you can easily transfer files through iTunes as well. However, there are a couple of features that I think would make this a perfect 5-star app. 1. The new video playback UI is nicer than before and consistent with many other iOS apps in this aspect. Makes for a better viewing, but I think this could still be further improved. It is still as if the app opens a new page to play videos, where you need to ‘X’ out of the video to scroll onto the next one on the album. It should play as with iPhone’s Photos app so I can simply swipe onto the next video/photo in the album or even have an option to let it auto-play to the next video in the album. 2. No iCloud backup support. I’m not sure if this is an app function or a limitation by how Apple’s iCloud backup works, not crucial for me but would certainly be a huge plus. When I got the new iPhone a couple of months ago it did not tranfer ANY of the files in the app after I restored from iCloud backup, it’s as if I deleted and downloaded the app from scratch. Luckily I had also made a backup through iTunes so I re-restored from there. But it defeats the purpose of backing up on iCloud, which I do because I do not have any storage space left on my Mac, so this would be a great feature to have as well. Overall definitely an app worth getting if you have any photos/videos you’d rather not have your friends/family/colleagues seeing while they recklessly scroll through your photos. The features I mention above would however be a huge plus and make this app worth a solid 5 stars for me.
