  • Apple Watch upgrade issue

    By earnshavian
Doesn’t seem to support upgrading to a new Apple Watch - just says login or sign up even though I’ve logged out and back in again and also looked at he devices page but can’t unpair and then repair. Otherwise a functional (although not terribly accurate) GPS app
  • No swim support, watch app poor

    By austimk
For runners and cycling the app is great, but since I got an Apple Watch I found the watch app buggy (crash and freezes a bit) and without a swim mode I stopped using strava.
  • Double reporting to iOS Health app

    By jmophoto
I like this app, but it gets one start until they address the issue with the app double reporting workouts to the iOS Health app. It has been an issue for over a year and is reliably reproducible. There is no excuse for this not to have been addressed.
  • Seriously Underwhelming

I don't get it—why does everyone rave about this app? It's okay, but it has less than half of the useful features of MyMyFitness. For instance, the voice feedback is a joke. You get your choice of splits and... nope, that's it. You can get splits at every mile or every half mile. Contrast that with MapMyFitness, which gives you seven options and eight interval choices at either distances or times. What about coaching? Forget it. Paying for premium is a total ripoff. There isn't even a delayed start option. Maybe the social media aspect is more appealing to some people, but UA has that covered too. There's just no question—when it come to fitness tracking, Strava can't compete.
  • Active Sync with Apple Watch?

    By Mr Reptar
I’ve been using Strava to log my runs and rides. I enjoy the accuracy and features this app provides. One thing that I miss from using the Nike Run app is that if you open it from the phone and your Apple Watch is connected, it will show you the data on your Apple Watch and use it as a heart rate monitor. For strava, if I start it up on my iPhone, it won’t show the live data on the Apple Watch or use the Apple Watch’s sensor. A little disappointed that it does not allow that. I have to constantly start the app from the Watch, but then that doesn’t allow me to send my beacon alerts. Would love for this feature to be added; having both units in sync, especially when initiated from the phone.
  • Must own app

Clean UI and great for tracking runs and rides. Integrates with a ton of devices.

  • Nice but Premium does not work well with Apple Watch integration

    By JDlc
All around this is a good app, and you get drawn in to subscribe to premium, but it is a big let down when you learn you can use Apple Watch OR iPhone. You get a heart rate with the watch but the display is unusable when you are riding. In the other hand, with an iPhone and a phone mount on your bike you can see your speed, race your prior rides, but without the ability to monitor heart rate.

This app has revolutionized training. Whether it's keeping track or rides, following friends, scouting flybys after cx races, trolling for KOMs, or improving times on KOMs it keeps me fit.
  • Apple Watch lose data

    By czzzla
Latest update on Sept’17, when I use strava by Apple Watch. Most of the time the app will not start after auto pause.
