Thanks guys for the iPhone X support! Can’t wait to shoot videos with this app!
  • Almost Perfect!

I’m exited that this app has finally been updated for iPhone X. My only issue is that the stabilization feature still needs to be worked on for the X. On my 6s+ everything worked perfectly! Nothing another minor update can’t fix but other than that I literally recommend this app to EVERYONE I know with an iPhone. I never record video without it great job guys!
  • Not IPhone X compatible-yet

I just wanted to post this review for this clearly five star app but let you know that the iPhone X compatibility is coming very soon according to the developers who I might note respond very quickly to support emails.
  • Great app!

UPDATE (Nov 20, 2017): the app has iPhone X support, and I fully recommend it to videographers that want great control at their fingertips. Wonderful job, devs. I’m giving the app 5 stars because it really is incredible, but at the time of writing (Nov 16, 2017), it does NOT support iPhone X. It fills the screen, but labels and buttons are cut off as of now. Devs, please update your awesome app with iPhone X support! However, to those on the fence of buying that have an iPhone X, as of now, you may want to wait until an update or you may be disappointed. It still functions as needed, but doesn’t look right on the X as of now.
  • iPhone X support makes it fully functional

So much better than before they got elements on the edge of screen framed correctly for the iPhone X but I’m a little bummed that an app that’s always been so handy hasn’t implemented a more intriguing UI redesign to take advantage of the new display shape.
  • If this only had a photo mode as well!

Of all my camera & photo apps, this is by far the most powerful & useful, but it would be even better if I could use it for stills. I love the UX, as it’s fast, intuitive and non intrusive. Brilliant design.
  • Not working with iPhone X and can’t import media

This was great for the 6+ and 7+, but now that I have the iPhone X I am having a number of issues. The app hasn’t been updated for compatibility with this phone. More importantly, I’m no longer able to import media into FCPX.
  • I’m having serious issues with Filmic Pro on iPhone X

Folks. I’ve owned this app for quite a long time. (Maybe since I owned the iPhone 5?). Got it because the in phone execution of video was “wandering” all over the place (both focus and exposure). Filmic Pro was nice and I used it (in those days) as a novelty because the iPhone camera was not even close to my pro gear and because of THAT, it wasn’t important that FP worked. Fast forward to iPhone X.... I made the fatal mistake of trusting that FP was doing what it said it was!! NOT SO (and I should have realized that is wasn’t working well BECAUSE the app wouldn’t even start properly but crashed a few times) after tapping on the app a few times eventually it started. I’m a professional videographer/ audio engineer so my standards are pretty high, but the new iPhone X can do things that my Sony’s can’t (like 240 FPS 1080 and 4K @ 60FPS) and Filmic Pro (SHOULD) be the ingredient that makes this iPhone X competitive... or one would think. SO... trusting that Filmic Pro was doing what it said, I shot 3 important events... FP’s menu SAID I was 4K-60FPS —it wasn’t— it shot at 1080p and no stability even though the phone was on a gimbal!! Once I realized that I had to toggle the preset selection it finally filmed in 4k... BUT when I went to download... the file was corrupt neither QT nor FCPX could read the files!! FP would play back but insanely “choppy”. Sometimes the play back window “pink’s / gray’s” out on Some files and the app LOCKS UP. I finally got the 4K file to export by sharing to my phone’s photo’s but the file is unusable (even after, valiant attempts at Post Processing. I WANT to LOVE this App.. I REALLY need it to work! I have a big video shoot tomorrow with an actor flown in from LA by a long time client. HELP!!! (And I just learned of your “cinematic color” control sub app (with “LOG” capability?) ....hmmmm I’d go there IF.... the main app worked?!
  • Almost unusable on the iPhone X

The app is very poorly if at all optimize for the iPhone X. Even though there was an update that came out for the app after the release of the X, The UI is being cut off everywhere inside the app, and parts of it are even unusable. I expected a faster update for at least the UI to fit in the screen before buying this. Wait for the update before purchasing this app if you have the iPhone X.
  • Unusable on iPhone X

I would have rated this 5 stars on my iPhone 6s - but now that I’ve switched to the X the app is unusable. The menus and buttons are cut off by the edges of the screen. Hoping the developer will fix so I can update my review.
