I have recently noticed while playing this game with others who happen to have a different device than my own that there are differences between this app depending on the device. Such as, Samsung users have achievements that motivate them to play the game more often, while myself an iPhone user do not have that option. I have also noticed that Samsung users have the option of changing what Duo the owl wears in their shop and I don’t have that option (which isn’t that big of a deal.) I can’t seem to find my settings anywhere, while Samsung devices can find it easily. Samsung users do not have a place where they can tell how fluent they are (as far as we know and trust me we have checked,) while I can always scroll up to the top of my learning page and know at anytime. And it’s not like we are learning different languages we are both learning Spanish. And lastly, Samsung and iphones layout of the game is completely different. Also something that I feel would greatly improve the gaming experience, I would greatly appreciate it if you guys could make a place where you can practice conjugating verbs at anytime (I’m learning Spanish,) seeing as I have trouble doing this. So bottom line I love this game and it helps me A LOT let me tell you. But, it would also be great if you guys could make the said changes above. Thanks! Update: sometimes Duolingo tells me that my strength is full and I go into the app and it turns out my strength isn’t full at all it’s still empty please fix

Love the simple but intuitive lessons only problem is that it doesn’t show me sentence structure however still the best 1 I have used

I started duoling 2 years ago and last year in July my sister deleted it from my phone so for about half a year I was so stressed and sad but then I found it again and now my Life has changed I know Spanish French and even German!!!!!!

  • Real Brain game

    By Zipperedup
Studies have shown learning a foreign language stimulates the brain much more than “brain games”. I am relearning German every day! I like that it makes me go back to review sessions, but sometimes it is 6-8 per day, which means I am not advancing past 65%. Starting to get frustrated....
  • Awesome

I didn't learn a foreign language in high school and that has put me a bit behind, especially college wise. I've been learning Spanish and Duolingo makes it all seem so easy, like I've hired a teacher to sit in front of me and make sure I learn properly!

  • Good app

    By AnaPFF
Surprisingly good. I’m very skeptical regarding apps for language learning. It ‘reminds’ me to do a 5-10 min lesson, which is good as I can always spare a few minutes a day, but don’t always remember to do so.
  • Update is an Improvement

The move from working on turning skills gold to leveling up with increasing levels of difficulty is a step in the right direction, as is the increased complexity in sentence structure and applicability in the real world. I only have a few gripes, like the amount of ads, the “cheerleader” slides (which are pointless), and the general easiness in passing the spoken exercises. Other than that, keep up the good work.
