  • Used to be a Fan, Now We’re Crashing

I use to love this app—best photo editing app out there. But since they added an “upgrade” version for extra $$$, the normal version crashes every single time I use it. So over it.
  • Great, Simple Editing

An essential app for mobile users. I use daily, and it’s a great way to give a photo enhancements that have character to them. I wish the Journal mode on iPad had margins, right now the text flows edge to edge, which looks oddly like an old HTML website, and is hard to read. A similar gripe to other reviews, I really don’t like how full screen photos are against a white background, and you can’t view them by themself—all the stats, hashtags, related images come with it at the bottom. A bit cluttered and makes the impact of the photo just feel like content, not a standalone photo.
  • The lastest update is so slow

I really like vsco, one of the best editing photo apps that I’ve used. Yet, I’m sorry I have to rate 3 stars for the lastest update. I’m using an iPhone 8 Plus, and it tooks me around 8-9 seconds to apply 1 preset to a photo instead of 1sec like the earlier versions. Please take a look at that, it’s really annoying. Thank you.
  • Too much like Instagram

The new update has made it so I see a bunch of photos from people I don’t follow. They are supposedly “tailored to my interests” but I haven’t seen one I like so far. I think we should have the option of having your algorithm determine what’s on our feed or not because I only got VSCO so I could post fun stuff and see what my friends posted, not what strangers are posting.
  • could use some improvement

vsco has always been an amazing app and its presets/tools still continue to amaze me. however, since their app layout changed last year, i have been disappointed a bit. some few things vsco needs to change: 1. bring back the old black grid please !! this grid allowed you to line your photos up next to each other, side by side, and made a good instagram feed planner. i feel like it’s a waste when i download other grid apps to plan my next post. 2. it takes too long to edit. it was much quicker when i had to decide between +2 or -2 instead of +2.5, +2.6, or -2.5, -2.6 etc. 3. vsco x could use a bit of improvement on adding moody/dark-toned presets but otherwise than that, it’s pretty good to use. i would still prefer vsco over any other editing app but if vsco were to be able to make some minor changes, i’d give this app 5 stars.
  • Amazing App But Buggy Notifications

Okay, so this is literally my favorite app. I love how it’s based around art and photography compared to like Instagram that’s just about whatever. Another thing that’s better about this than Instagram is with insta, you’re constantly comparing yourself to other people’s accounts. How many likes do they have? How many followers? With VSCO, you don’t have that bc it doesn’t tell you. A+ to you guys. My only complaint is the messaging part. And I realize it’s new so I’ve been trying to give y’all credit and I’m sure you guys will fix it but a lot of times I don’t get notifications even though they’re turned on. Every person I message on there says the exact same thing and that it’s a constant problem. So if you guys could work on that, I’ll gladly change my review to 5 stars. I recommend this app to everyone. It’s wonderful and the community is great. I highly suggest downloading. If you plan on using messaging though, just keep checking them until it’s fixed.
  • 2 Small Changes to Improve VSCO Mobile

When editing multiple photos at once (via VSCO Mobile), it would be helpful if the user could apply a recipe or paste an edit. The current version only allows for create a journal,’ ‘share,’ ‘save to cameral roll, or delete when multiple images are selected. If I recall correct, on an older version of VSCO allowed users to copy and paste edits… this makes editing multiple photos on a mobile device much easier. Please add this feature in the future, it would be fondly appreciated. Second recommend is to allow the user to upload photos from specific albums on their mobile device. Current version only allows for uploading from the Camera Roll. Which makes it difficult to edit images not taken most recently...

For the past day or so I have received error messages when trying to import photos to my studio! I have tried force closing the app and logging out and logging back in. Please fix this!
