OneDrive App Description

OneDrive is the one place for everything in your life. It gives you free online storage for all your personal files, so you can access them from your Mac and any other devices you use – iPhone, iPad, PC, Windows Phone or Android. With OneDrive for Business, you also get storage for your work files so you can share and collaborate on them with other people at your work or school/university. The OneDrive app for Mac makes it easy to work with your OneDrive files on your Mac: •Access your OneDrive files directly from the Finder, including attachments that you’ve saved to OneDrive from, and documents and spreadsheets that you’ve created from Office Online. •Work with your OneDrive files even when you’re offline. Your changes will sync automatically the next time you’re online. •Choose the folders in your OneDrive that you want to sync on your Mac. •Add several files or folders to OneDrive at a time by dragging them to the OneDrive folder. By putting your files in OneDrive, you can access them from anywhere and have a backup in case something happens to your computer. •Easily open, edit and create docs and other files in OneDrive from applications such as Word or Excel.

App Reviews

  • Works few times and needs to be reinstalled every other day

Otherwise, the rest of the time, when it works, it’s ok.
  • Convenient

    By Satisfiedcustomer101
This app has been extremely convenient. For someone mobile, you cannot beat having access to files and documents on demand. All you need is a WIFI connection. If you need the file on your computer, you can download it. I also have access to my documents across operating system platforms as well. It is as easy on Macs or Windows, tablets, or cell phones. I highly recommend Onedrive for on-the-go people like myself!
  • Cannot Install

Does not work with High Sierra OS at all… very disappointed.
  • MS Word won’t open

    By Guardian Primo
After I updated OneDrive to the latest version, MS Word would not open on my Macbook Pro (macOS, High Sierra, version 10.13.3). I restarted the Mac and tried to reopen the program again but to no avail. Please release a new update to fix this issue.
  • Great App, with Great Support

    By Stryder Jin
Microsoft cloud services work really well and I’m glad they support other platforms the way they do.
  • sync works bad

    By znoodl
Some files can not be synced, and it shows “you are all set”. Very very bad experience.
  • Works well. Can login to multiple accounts at once.

Have a personal OneDrive and a school related OneDrive. Both can be logged in at the same time and kept seperate. No issues.
  • Will not work with High Sierra iMac pro

    By 001none
All my files are messed up because it won’t work on my brand new iMac. It won’t sync automatically. I have installed and uninstalled the app (yes, the most recent one), twice. I have started and restarted the computer. The app will not even launch, which means I am not prompted to sign in. Meanwhile, all the work I did this weekend is now a “recovered” file instead of uploaded to my OneDrive, and all of those OneDrive files have none of the 12 hours of changes from this weekend. This Is Not A Good Way To Finish Writing My Textbook. I have read online about this problem and no one proposes a solution that I can follow.
  • Best App ever

    By wd travel
I love one drive! Accessing records on the go anytime and able to share as needed saves time.
  • Notification Pop-up ad

    By Joshua8598
1 start instead of 5 simply because i recieved a notification pop-up advertising the OneDrive service, this is extremely annoying. As a OneDrive subsriber i am already WELL AWARE of the current prices of the service.
