So moving and interesting but also exciting.
  • Fun and unique way to tour places

Easy to do with friends and love how it tracks your location and adjusts accordingly
  • Price is too high

    By licooperk89
Great app and great idea. But 7.99 for a single detour?! That’s way too much. Most complete apps on App Store are .99 or 4.99.
  • Loved the Austin Radiolab Detour!

    By Shopgirl713
My friend and I finally did the Austin Detour by Radiolab and it was really cool! We’re from Austin but we still learned plenty about our downtown. And we loved the murder storyline. The tour ended with a 360 view of the city from the seventh story of a parking garage. We hope they’ll make more Austin detours!

I plan daytrips to SF with my wife around Detours. Grew up in SF & thought I knew the neighborhoods but this peels back the layers w intimate storytelling. In Paris my wife & I loved eating our way through the bread tour. It’s a favorite memory of the trip. Have had several great detours in London as well when I was stuck alone for business. The tours add so much richness, a sense of neighborhood and people with wonderful stories & local insights. Obviously I’m a big fan - look forward to seeing more locations & cities.

Detour offers a great way to get a little of history and explore unfamiliar places in a new city that one might not otherwise see.
  • Loved this walking tour!!

    By gelsul
This tour in Seoul was so great! I loved hearing stories about the narrator's childhood and actually exploring and learning about the neighborhood where he grew up. The tour went through markets, into beautiful buildings ( now a pharmacy where you can drink traditional tea)and many other places while discussing the historical significance of this area. I was in Seoul for 2 weeks and this was a highlight! Definitely a must do!!
  • Great!

Recently did the Go-Go music/U-Street tour of historic DC and it was great! Easy to use and a great value. I really love the app’s interface and the ability to sync with friends. My friend and I truly enjoyed ourselves and learned a lot. I plan to use it more in other cities when I can. I think it’s perfect for a solo traveler or friends to use when getting to know a destination at one’s own pace.
  • Fabulous! Broadway tour in NYC by Joel Grey

    By kristyhana
I thought this was such an interesting tour of Broadway in NY. I mean where else can you get a personal guide around Broadway from an actual Broadway legend? Joel Grey’s commentary was amazing. I felt like I was transported back through the history of Broadway. I can’t wait to take more tours, even ones in my own town if they have them.
