OmniFocus for iOS brings the in-depth task management features of a desktop app to your fingertips. With flexible viewing options, location awareness, and on-the-fly task entry from just about anywhere, OmniFocus is the trusted system you need for managing everything in your busy life. Keep track of tasks by project, place, person, or date—with OmniFocus you’ll always have your important information at hand. Whether it’s a shopping list, agenda items to discuss at work, or chores to do at home, whatever you need to do is right there on your iPhone or iPad. OmniFocus' interface was designed from scratch for iOS and organized around your data—your stuff—to make it easier and more natural for you to quickly get ideas into and out of the app, whether you’re using Getting Things Done™ (GTD™) or any other productivity system. It's powerful enough to use on its own, and syncs through the cloud with your other devices running OmniFocus (also available for Mac). Syncs even happen when you’re not actively using OmniFocus, so that your information is ready when you are. STANDARD FEATURES (VIA IN-APP PURCHASE) • Reliable push sync using our free service or your own server. OmniFocus' sync format is encrypted so even if your server is compromised, your data is protected • A flexible hierarchy: keep all your to-dos in one list or use as many levels of Folders, Projects, Groups, and Actions as you need to stay organized • Assign contexts based on location, people, energy level—whatever you'd like to use to organize your to-dos • Plan your day’s errands by listing nearby location-based contexts or viewing them on a map • Today Widget shows you OmniFocus items due today right in Notification Center • Reminders Capture and OmniFocus Mail Drop for entering OmniFocus actions via Siri or services like IFTTT & Zapier via email • Interactive notifications for nearby and due items let you mark complete (or snooze) without even opening the app • Search shows results from the current view or your entire OmniFocus database • Add Photo and Audio attachments right on your device and view file attachments synced from other devices • Forecast row shows you how much is due in the next few days on your Home screen or sidebar; open the Forecast perspective to see your due items alongside events from your iOS Calendar • A dedicated Review perspective makes sure nothing falls through the cracks • View your most important items with a flick of the wrist using OmniFocus on Apple Watch. • Choose between light and dark color palettes, or have OmniFocus automatically adjust as background lighting shifts. • NEW App Lock keeps OmniFocus' interface hidden behind TouchID or a password. • NEW Support for TaskPaper Text and omnifocus:///add and /paste urls lets you automate complicated workflows using apps like Workflow. Starting from a solid, simple user experience, we added Pro features for customizing OmniFocus and making it even more powerful: PRO FEATURES (VIA IN-APP PURCHASE) • Customize the OmniFocus sidebar and Home screen just like you customize your iOS Device's Home screen. • Custom Perspectives: save and revisit custom views for specific tasks or situations: “Show me the chores I can do in five minutes” or “What do I need to follow up on with the people from the planning meeting?” • Display any perspective in Notification Center with the Today Extension Download OmniFocus now and start your free trial! • Trial is a joke

    By Redwyn
If this app was worth anything close to its price the developer wouldn’t be so afraid to give a real trial with full functionality or a free version with limited features. The way they do it now makes you wonder what they’re afraid of...
  • OmniFocus feels neglected as a platform

    By LeoVogel
The Mac app in particular feels neglected. Design is stale and some features users have been asking for, for several years, are still missing. Readdle looks like the best hope for a modern, powerful task manager. OmniGroup doesn’t appear to care about improving OmniFocus.
  • Yay! An accessible todo task app!

I’m totally blind. I use the Voiceover screen reader on the iphone. Omnifocus is the Most Accessible, those last two words were in caps for the other voiceover users, app that I have ever used for task management and todos. Voiceover reads the button labels very well. The only reason I’ve knocked it down a star are the following: 1. No way to import tasks from other apps like wunderlist. 2. Voiceover doesn’t understand drag and drop support and thinks I’m giving a 3d touch instead of a double tap and hold on an item to move it. Needs support like the edit mode for Ios 11 voiceover support for dragging and dropping apps. Put in those two features and this thing has 5 stars from me all the way, even though it is pricy for the iphone Pro edition. As an edit, I did figure out the drag and drop of perspective tiles. It’s more sensitive than the regular drag and drop in any apple interface. Still, I have hundreds of tasks in wunderlist that I’d love to import, but I have no idea how to do that.
  • Not for people with vision issues

The previous versions of OmniFocus were very good. The displays were easy to read and manipulate. OmniFocus 2, however, has used a thin grey font that is very difficult to read and reduces the usability of the app dramatically. There is no way to change the font or the layout of the app.
  • Make it faster. Please.

    By YourGhostInMyMachine
I have the iPhone 8 plus and this app continues to be way too slow upon opening. I’ve been in the OmniFocus ecosystem for years and love it, but the time it takes to open the app makes my mind wander about investigating other apps. The advantage of this app for me is to be able to capture ideas quickly, but when it takes the app like 2-4 seconds to load sometimes, sometimes I forget. Yes, I’m crying about a 2 second lag. I just don’t get why it takes that long to open.
  • One of the best apps on the App Store and keeps getting better.

I’ve been an Omnifocus user for several years and it’s been exciting to watch how far it’s come. Drag and drop on the iPad works like a charm and I’m so pumped to see what comes next. My biggest wish long-term is multiple user functionality (sort of like how wunderlist does it, that way you could manage small teams or families). But until that comes, I’m happy to keep using it.
  • Vital app for me

I love this app and how well everything integrates from the desktop, to the phone, to the watch. Everything is seamless and makes it easier to be productive.
  • Great Focus for Scattered Minds

    By R3p0man
I’ve been a very scattered mind person, easily distracted and forgetful. I read about GTD, and wanted to have a piece of software that could help me manage my time and projects. OmniFocus does that and more. It made me think differently as well, which helped me shift my thought process to match the software, which makes me even more effective. If only I could remember to add things as they come...
  • Nickel and dime you to death

    By Tomcat900
Siri doesn't work. They want $60 for each iPhone iPad and Mac. They want another $10/month just to learn how to use their app. There are much cheaper and better options on the market
  • Horrible

    By Fifty six
Two weeks in an app completely goes haywire. Unable to open the app at all regardless of the device - iPad, iPhone, Mac. Worked great for two weeks...just long enough to get my whole life into the app. Then gone. Don’t make my mistake and rely solely on this app. You will get burned. First call to tech ended with them blaming my hardware. 24 hours later - I finally get a hold of them again. Response was “wow, that shouldn’t be happening.” Then sales making me jump through hoops to get a refund. I have to send in receipt then get a check cut or use PayPal.
