I loved this app and didn’t mind the price tag because I appreciated the convenience of finding great recipes on the fly, zipping home from work. I’m very disappointed about the removal of the star rating system which was a very helpful shorthand method of zeroing in on a quick recipe without reading reviews or logging online through a computer. I would encourage the app people to reactivate that feature for those of us who greatly appreciate and use it.

I have the printed cookbook, I have used the website and now their trying to get a monthly fee for the app. I'm done with them all. I'm 60 years old have used NYT COOKBOOK for 40 years. Done with it. Don't mind paying for a printed book because they are classic. But a subscription is just plain greedy. Especially when most of the recipes are submitted by users.

This app is all I need to get a meal on the table. The photos and instructions always give me confidence, especially when trying something new. I also value the comment section and have learned to relax and improvise because of great sharing by other cooks.
