The Post is wonderful. It and NPR are my lifelines.
  • Excellent content

I’ve become a big fan of the Washington Post. Their excellent reporting has helped stay on top of some of the shenanigans happening in our country. By and large the app is of similar quality. The only update I would like to see is the option for a sans serif font. Something like Arial, Helvetic or Apple’s system font, San Francisco would be a welcome enhancement. The default font can make articles difficult to read.
  • Mostly ok

Navigation, organization, stability, and routine use are fine. Some of the special fonts are unreadable on both my iOS and droid devices, in particular that greyed-out italic font used for long quotes. That's annoying.
  • Enjoy the updates!

I love WAPO I’d never. Never been much of a newspaper reader but when my partner got a digital subscription I started paying more attention to the paper. I’m a total fan! Only complaint right now is that I can no longer share directly from the app to Facebook. I can still accomplish it by opening it up in a session of Safari and then sharing manually from there.
  • Fixed the zooming pics, but still a tunneled navigation

Still terrible. Finally the zooming, nausea inducing pics are gone, but navigation is still one story at a time. There is a categories menu, but that's it. No simple headlines to scan. I have to scroll through huge images for all the stories? I've looked and looked to see if there's a setting to turn off this scroll feature. I'm astounded that there is not a more conventional formatting option. This app is just terrible. I've looked at the WP Classic app and it's better. This whole having 3 different apps thing is just dumb. Way overthinking this, folks. I am the founder of an online business and am in no way unaccustomed to apps and am not a Luddite. This app is terrible.
  • WaPo is a must read.
